UI/UX Designer – Join the DragonKill Team
DragonKill is a complex 2D MMO that requires intuitive and stylish interface design to make it accessible and enjoyable. We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer to help build menus, HUD elements, inventory systems, and chat interfaces that feel both retro and modern.
🧭 Role Summary
You’ll design mockups, interface flows, and user interactions that enhance the player experience — from onboarding new tacticians to managing large raid parties. You’ll work closely with the Unity and design teams to make sure everything is functional and beautiful.
🧪 Responsibilities
- Create wireframes and mockups for in-game menus, HUDs, overlays, and notifications.
- Design inventory, skill trees, character sheets, and chat interfaces with clarity and style.
- Define UI color palettes, spacing, sizing, and hierarchy rules that match the game’s theme.
- Work with Unity developers to implement or adapt your designs in-engine.
- Participate in usability testing and player feedback review.
🎯 Expectations
- You can produce pixel-perfect layouts or scalable design assets.
- You understand how to organize complex UI systems into intuitive flows.
- You collaborate well with devs and understand implementation constraints.
- You provide assets in clean, labeled, export-ready formats.
🧠 Ideal Experience
- Experience designing UI for games (especially RPGs, MMOs, or RTS).
- Familiar with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Sketch.
- Basic understanding of Unity UI is a plus.
🏆 What You’ll Gain
- Build a UI portfolio on a live, content-rich multiplayer game.
- Shape the experience of every DragonKill player, from new users to veteran tacticians.
- Earn credits, reputation, and shared success when we succeed.
- Get real-world feedback from an active community and dev team.
