QA Tester – Join the DragonKill Team
DragonKill is a 2D multiplayer MMO under active development. We need dedicated QA Testers to help ensure the game is stable, responsive, and fun to play. If you enjoy breaking things to make them better — this role is for you.
🧪 Role Summary
As a QA Tester, you’ll help identify bugs, glitches, and usability issues by playing early builds and reporting findings clearly to the development team. Your testing will help us maintain a smooth and balanced gameplay experience — especially under multiplayer load.
🛠 Responsibilities
- Test combat systems, inventory interactions, spells, crafting, UI, and multiplayer sync.
- Log and report reproducible bugs in clear language (steps to reproduce, screenshots, etc.).
- Simulate high player activity situations (multiple character swaps, map transitions, etc.).
- Verify fixes after patches and confirm stability improvements.
- Communicate directly with developers to assist with edge-case testing.
🎯 Expectations
- You’re methodical and detail-oriented — the kind of person who notices when things “feel off.”
- You can write simple bug reports and follow testing checklists.
- You’re curious and not afraid to click on everything to see what breaks.
- You have a PC capable of running Unity builds and testing online play.
🧠 Ideal Experience
- Experience testing indie games or running QA sessions with friends.
- Comfort using Trello, Notion, or shared bug tracking spreadsheets.
- Familiar with Unity-based games or Mirror Networking is a bonus (but not required).
🏆 What You’ll Gain
- Be a critical part of delivering a polished MMO experience.
- See your feedback directly shape builds and bug fixes.
- Earn credits, reputation, and shared success when we succeed.
- Build a foundation for future QA/game testing opportunities.
