Project Manager – Join the DragonKill Team

Project Manager – Join the DragonKill Team

DragonKill is a large-scale indie MMO with lots of moving parts — game systems, content drops, community events, and a growing dev team. We’re looking for a Project Manager to help keep things organized, on track, and focused as we grow.

📅 Role Summary

As Project Manager, you’ll work with the lead developer and volunteers across art, design, code, audio, and community. Your job is to keep us coordinated, remove blockers, and help everyone stay aligned on our weekly and monthly goals.

🧪 Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project timelines, task assignments, and feature priorities.
  • Keep documentation, schedules, and goals organized across tools like Notion or Trello.
  • Lead weekly team meetings and check-ins over Discord.
  • Track progress and highlight areas where help or realignment is needed.
  • Act as a bridge between developers, artists, QA, and writers to keep communication flowing.

🎯 Expectations

  • You’re organized, proactive, and like helping people get things done.
  • You communicate clearly and aren’t afraid to speak up when something needs attention.
  • You can commit to a few hours each week to track updates and guide the team.
  • You’re comfortable managing an indie dev pipeline with a lot of volunteers and creative personalities.

🧠 Ideal Experience

  • Experience managing creative or game projects (school, jam, hobby, or professional).
  • Comfortable using Trello, Notion, GitHub Projects, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with agile/dev workflows is a plus (but not required).

🏆 What You’ll Gain

  • Lead development of a live MMORPG from the inside.
  • Build real experience managing tasks, schedules, and cross-functional teams.
  • Earn credits, reputation, and shared success when we succeed.
  • Create a resume-worthy experience running a remote team for a Web2/Web3 hybrid game.

💬 How to Apply

Email customersupport@dragonkill.online or DM us on Discord with:

  • Your name and your experience with organizing projects or managing teams
  • Links to any projects you’ve led or contributed to (optional)
  • A few words about what excites you about DragonKill and why you’d like to help lead it

No experience? No problem.

If you’re a natural organizer who wants to grow into a leadership role in games — we’d love to work with you.

No payment (yet)

This is a volunteer role. But when we succeed — and we will — you’ll share in that success.

Keep us focused. Keep us moving. Join us.
